After accidentally including Motorola G3 in their website some days back, Flipkart has announced a price cut for the Motorola G2 (2014) which was unveiled a year back and now is on the verge of getting replaced by the latest Moto G3 (2015).
Flipkart accidentally added Moto G3 few days back, but quickly pulled the page down.
Moto G2 (2014) will be selling at Rs 9,999 now, to make sure that the device stock’s are cleared before the launching of its successor, the device includes 5.0 inch HD IPS LCD screen with corning Gorilla Glass protection, coupled up with 1.2 GHz quad core processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB Internal Memory but even at the price of Rs 9,999 seems more costly than other competition at the same price.
Moto G2 (2014)
Coming to the successor, the Moto G3 (2015), the device is expected to hit stores some days now, featuring 5.0 inch FullHD IPS LCD Screen with resolution of 1920 x 1080px with 441ppi and inclusion of budget friendly Snapdragon 610 SoC, 2GB RAM and Adreno 405 as the GPU, the device would also feature a metal finish which will add to the premium look and make it more pleasing to the eye.
The device seems to have just the right amount of specs for the price range of a around Rs 12,999, and we are sure that the device is going to recreate the success that was attained by its predecessors.
If you ask me, I would suggest you not to go with technology amounting to the previous year and wait for Moto G3 official launch that can happen anytime now, and for what its worth, its worth spending another Rs 3000 and getting the latest device than by saving some money and going after old technology.
