Whatsapp Redesigned with Material design : The result is Artistic

WhatsApp has quietly revamped the Messaging app with Material Design Update, the update has basically changed the whole UI to more concrete and polished interface and it looks beautiful.

The update will be rolled to Google Play in the coming of days and will change colors to more Googleish- as per Google material standards and the result is not disappointing at all. WhatsApp designers have worked really hard and made sure that the design overhaul does not causes any problems to the regular users.

There are no overall interactive changes, designs changes are countless as the colour scheme is set to Google material standards, also in the contact description panel now you see a rectangular photo that stretches to both sides from an oval in the previous design.

Also animations are remodeled to smoother yet long animations that cover transitions such as moving to Contact’s picture and to the Contact’s Chat.

Overall the app feels amazing and this adds a breath of fresh air to the existing app that has been attracting millions of people all over the world. WhatsApp has been consistent in providing people with a new experience and always a good one.

Guys this is the update with only design overhaul and nothing else, but there are many under the hood changes that will make WhatsApp more smooth and responsive. While i was using the app I found some glitches here and there but when I tried to recreate them to see if it was a actual bug, I was relieved to see that they came up just once, this means that WhatsApp has worked really hard for the implementation of design and for making it conflict free to other interactions in the App.
