All Nexus 6 Devices running Project Fi, get Android 5.1.1 ‘over the next few days’

Project Fi Nexus 6 receives Android 5.1.1

Good news for people who have upgraded from a single carrier mode to the technology of the future, Project Fi, yesterday we learnt about what Project Fi actually was, it’s benefits and how to Opt-in, there was only one requirement and that was that you must have a Nexus 6, because that’s the only smartphone that is capable to switch between networks and Wifi hotspots, in compliance to Google’s Standards.

So, now we have received news that all Project Fi devices will be updated to Android 5.1.1 in the coming of days, news was received from the Project’s official twitter handle that said, :

Good news! Android 5.1.1 – an even sweeter version of Android Lollipop – is coming to all Project Fi phones over the next few days.

Many Nexus 6 device already have the update, but for those who don’t this is good news, google seem to take Project Fi as a premium service and this announcement makes us more sure of that.
