Samsung thinnest-yet-tablet, the Galaxy Tab S2 is finally announced which marks impressive specs but there is a catch that we will talk about later in the post, but the overall picture of the device seems very gorgeous, with beautiful SAMOLED Screen and metallic edges. Take a look.
If you are familiar with Galaxy S6, this tablet will make you feel right at home, to the fact that the device will be based on exactly the same design-overhaul that we first saw on the Galaxy S6. Tablet will be featuring metallic design which powered Galaxy ‘A’ series of smartphones, with metallic edges but soft-plastic back.
The best factor after the gorgeous screens, will be the thickness, at just 5.6mm, the device is really really thin for a tablet.
Tab S2 will come in two variants, an 8 inch-variant and another with 9.7-inch variant, both of them will feature similar specifications, boosting SuperAMOLED screen, Exynos 5433 Octa Core SoC, 3GB RAM, 32 or 64GB Internal Memory with an 8MP rear and 2.1MP front camera but lacks in a rear flash. So say good-bye to the night photography, which you probably never did but did samsung do good in depriving you of the option of it?

and, did I forget that the device will be featuring the same FingerPrint Sensor we saw on Samsung Galaxy S6? The same greatly accurate “touch-based”sensor, upgraded from the “swipe-based” on the Galaxy S5 which was probably the worst thing about the Galaxy S5 *
It will run Android 5.0.2 out-of-the-box, with other standard connectivity options like Bluetooth, WiFi. The device will further have two more variants, LTE and WiFi Only models for your liking, Samsung has made sure that you get the best battery backup with a 4,000 mAh battery for the 8-inch and 5,870 mAh battery for the 9.7 inch tab.
Prices and avialablity are all in for next month officiall annoucemnet, but citing SamMobile which said that the prices will be as follows:
Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 Wi-Fi: $432
Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 LTE: $508
Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 Wi-Fi: $540
Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE: $616
Cutting cost with a flash housing? We don’t think so that it will be a clever move for samsung, flash seems a handy tool and we don’t seem to be happy about it.
