OnePlus announces a Google Cardboard 2.0 VR kit for just 99rs

OnePlus, the company behind the blockbuster OnePlus One has now announced a VR Cardboard kit just at 99r! How amazing is that. For people who don’t really know what a VR kit is, Virtual Reality Cardboard kit is a cardboard cut device that will convert your smartphone to a complete Virtual Reality experience, complete 360degree videos that will move in the direction you move your head and will give you a experience you cant possibly forget.

Boxight also announced a VR kit for 283INR in the past couple of months, but the company was highly overwhelmed by the response and was not able to meet the production requirements and thus is not operating. I suggest you not to go with them and take up a OnePlus VR when available.

Google Cardboard 2.0

OnePlus seems to be a good choice at 99rs and it is based on the latest Cardboard 2.0 which was introduced this year at the I/O 2015. Google Cardboard is basically a platform to encourage low cost affordable VR with the help of a dedicated norm of producing a low cost VR Gear using Cardboard, two Optical lenses and your smartphone.

Compared to other Cardboard variations out there, we’ve used a stronger, thicker cardboard material and added high-quality velcro for maximum durability. Who said cardboard was supposed to be disposable?

The availability details are not out yet but we can expect the device to land in the market later this year, and OnePlus, won’t be making the mistake Boxight did by not delivering the products even after successful orders.

What do you guys think of Virtual Reality? Will you buy the OnePlus VR kit when it launches for 99rs? We are really excited how this turns out to be. Till then, Keep Androtrending!
