There is no easy way to find out who blocked you on Instagram, but as long as you are here at Androtrends.com, it isn’t going to be hard as well. You have a feeling that someone who was very active on Instagram suddenly disagreed from your news feed, what can be the reason behind it? Can it be that they Quit Instagram, but one of your mate of talking about a funny picture this person recently posted- what can it be? The answer my friend here is, you are blocked.
The first thing that you should follow is not to get offended, that’s just something that you didn’t had control on and that person is doing it out of their will and that has very less to do with you.
Now, coming to why you are actually here, ‘How to know when someone blocks you on Instagram?’ , I already addressed the topic on my article ‘Instagram Blocking Explained’ but now as we are here, let us take a different approach, from what we did earlier.
There is an App for this, but that isn’t free, you’ll have to pay a 0.99$ InApp Purchase for it, which is by all means worth it.
If you don’t really want to grab your credit card here’s the deal:
- To start with, you must have Suspect’s name and their Instagram handle.
- Next try searching for the suspect, if you can’t find them, that’s a hint that you are blocked.
- Now, if you can’t find them via search, go to a mutual friends profile and click on the suspect’s name, wherever you see their photo tagged.
- Now you are in the suspect’s profile.
- [Public account] If you see “No Photos/ Videos Yet”, they have blocked you 100%. To view their profile go to the three do overflow and click on Copy Profile URL. Go to a browser and paste this URL, now you can see what pictures they upload.
- [Private Account] If you see “This user is private”, try following him/her, it won’t let you follow them, every time you click on Follow, it will automatically change to follow again. In this case you can’t do anything to view their profile.
