Google & LAVA working for a new Android One device, MediaTek Processor in tow

Google’s Android One Program was a blockbuster hit all over the world, it was just like Nexus but was ultra-affordable which opened the doors for masses. It got a warm reception in India when manufacturers like Micromax, Spice and Karbonn launched their Android One Offerings and they all enjoyed great sales, what google’s name on your device can do and still, these smartphones enjoy great luxuries, they get every Android Update and most importantly, they get it on time.

and, Google seems to be really happy for the reception it has got on Android One, so, why not start another program? Why not give a successor? It is exactly what google is planning to do on 14 July, one this day, Google is reportedly launching another Android One Smartphone in India with similar price tag but this time, the plan is to give manufacturers some independence on the design aspect.

Lava

12,000 Rs, MediaTek Processor, 2GB RAM, 5inch Display

Rumours suggest that the device would be manufactured by Lava, and would cost close to 12,000Rs and it also shed a light on collaboration and discussion with Lava and MediaTek, so we can see a device powered by latest MediaTek Processors hopefully the Helio series with 2GB RAM and a 5 inch display.

What do you guys think about the device? Let us know in the comment box below. For us, this is going to eb big hit like the first episode of Android One. Lava might not be the biggest local manufacturer but seems promising with google on its side.
