Todays’s episode of Android Today will feature instances of the best android news of the day. Starting with Intex iRist smartwatch which is an Android 4.4 powered smartwatch, Another set of launch updates for Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus, Lenovo K3 Note sale statistics which amazed us and much more.
To start off, Intex smartphone brand know for its Aqua Series smartphones surprised us with a smartwatch offering branded as ‘iRist’, which is, in reality a smartphone on your wrist and is entirely a different affair from Android Wear smartwatches, more on that in our next post, where we will shed some light on what Android Wear is and why is it different from smartphone on your wrist like Intex iRist.
Coming to specifications, 240×240p display, 5MP Camera with Face-Detection, 4GB internal space expandable upto 32GB and retail price of 11,999 Rs which is no way justifiable for the specifications and the fact that it does not counts as an Android Wear will further aggravate the deal.
We have possible launch dates for Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus and that is rumored to be on August 12, 2015. Only we days back we heard the news that Samsung had changed the possible launch dates to avoid collision with Apple’s iPhone launching. Possible Specifications of the devices are here.
And last but not the least, toady we witnessed the second flash sale for Lenovo K3 Note Sale, which turned out to be the greatest of sales with 30,000 units of the K3 Note Black, and 19,800 units of K3 Note White sold out within 3secs and 4.3 secs respectively. There were two consecutive sales today with one scheduled for 12 noon and other at 3PM, and the company said that they received 61,863 registrations for the second flash sale.
People who are eager to buy a K3 Note will have to wait till 22 July for which the sale registration is now open, head on here to register for the 22 July sale. Black and White variants of the K3 Note will be available at 12 noon and 3PM respectively to make sure to be on time for the color you want to buy.
