One of the world’s biggest rivals, Microsoft and Google have their cold wars always going on. Microsoft always pushes the name-calling thing with another set of facts and figures and now the company has come further up with calling the game on- with security issues pertaining to Fragmentation and Update Scheduling thing.
As we all know that the worst thing about android is Fragmentation- a situation where many devices are on the prior versions rather than being on the latest and update-scheduling where the updates when promised to device take months and months to finally get to the device.
In an Official Blogpost the company said, “This level of commitment and support is far different than Android, for example, where Google refuses to take responsibility for updating their customers’ devices, leaving end-users and business increasingly exposed every day they use the device”.
Microsoft is heating the issue in a blogpost that tells us the security benefits of Windows 10 and how it is useful for Businesses.
Folks at AndroidCentral.com pointed out at a really good point that was left by Microsoft that the Mountain View Company is trying really hard on the topic of security issues induced by fragmentation and such, by distributing Google Play Services that take acre of security updates which happen automatically OTA.
