[UPDATED] Smartphone Launch: YU Yuphoria Launched for INR 6,999

YU Televenturers next smartphone offering Yuphoria will be announced on 12 May teased the company on its official twitter handle. YU Yureka was the first device of YU Televenturers and that did not fail Micromax’s attempt to replicate Xiaomi as an online only brand with Flash sales.

With power packed hardware and Cyanogen’s software support-company has sold more than 2 lakhs smartphones with phones still available.

With Yuphoria the company is trying to duplicate Yureka’s success and for that the company will be trying to provide more customizable features to users. Yureka’s thing that excited users was the fact that it was supported by cyanogen for software backing.

Themes and Android Updates came directly from Cyanogen Inc. and YU Televenturers had no say in it. Also the UI looked beautiful and extremely customizable. Now we look forward to see the same from YUPHORIA on the 12^th of May.

Although there has been no official disclosure about the Specs of the upcoming device, we can say that the device will feature- 5.1 HD Screen, 2GB of RAM or probably 3GB, 64bit Processor Chip like Snapdragon 410, and battery bigger than YUREKA’s.
