Angry Birds has been here for like forever and now the company, after launching the original Angry Birds in 2009,  has launched its sequel as Angry Birds 2. For the task, we came up with a gameplay idea and you’ll find a video below that will undoubtedly make you download the game.

First Impressions

What we really liked about this sequel was the new a dramatic storytelling, like, the same old story of the classic question, Why are the Birds Angry? Answered in a dramatic video appearance in the starting and also in many other places one would notice. Another thing that we seem to like is the recreational ambience created by slowing down the frames, when the bird is just about to hit the setup- notice it yourself, just before bird hits the setup there is a little slowdown effect, that supposedly makes the experience a ted more enjoyable.

Game has been around for a while from the last 5 years, with regular updates and speedy servers, but now it was loosing it touch so the company’s attempt to keep it alive is justified. To people who are still not able to understand what the hell is going on, think of this as Counter Strike Multiplayer for PC, released almost a Decade Earlier the game is still going strong with dedicated players from all around the world who mod the arena and play on their dedicated servers.

Madfinger has released a Game Master Kit for anyone who has a knowledge of Unity can use the kit to mod the game, change players, modify arenas and create changes as per their liking. Game Master Kit includes

• fully functional online multiplayer game
• client side & server side
• 2 game modes included: deathmatch and zone control (domination)
• 2 maps: core (deathmatch), vortex (zone control)
• all the characters from the original game (reduced texture quality)
• all the weapons and items from the  original game (reduced texture quality)

What Unity’s Community added (not in the official version of the game):

• server list – game server enumeration on LAN
• possibility to connect a game server defined by ip:port (command line)

The Design is really amazing and you cannot possibly ask for more artful and thoughtful game design. Beautiful symmetrical objects thoughtfully line up with the never-ending thirst of gameplay. Yes, I made that line up.  Coming again to the design we are pretty amazed with it, and the “INVERT” thing completely reverses the colour scheme and you can play it with a breath of fresh air.

GAMEPLAY

The game is like an escape based single touch arcade where you will have to dodge the enemy attacks by escaping the line of action. You will have to save the “BLUE GUY” by moving it across the screen so as to dodge the RED ones. We actually made a video on the gameplay, find that below this write-up.

There are many snake themed games available in the Google play store but most of them fail to leave an android impression, they go for all retro and that’s where they fail.  We ain’t living in ’97 people! Let us try something of the 21 Century.

That’s where our game comes in, this is something of the Material Age and feels like it with Minimal UI and Colorful Expression. Ouroboros will take you to a similar Snake journey, growing snake and managing to not mess up to GAME OVER.

Game has many innovations such as a WormHole that makes you enter from a different place and exit from another and other specific gameplay tactics that you will enjoy while playing it.

This game isn’t that perfect with some gameplay issues and bugs here and there but to say that we sideloaded many snake themed games and selected this from 10 of those, tells us the right story.
