Video of Android 1.6 running on Calculator will surprise you

A Youtube User Josh Max managed to run one of the earliest version of Android on his Texas Instruments Graphic Calculator, TI-Nspire CX. This happens to be the best thing about android that it is open source and everyone who has a basic knowledge of coding and programming can manage to run Android Code anywhere possible.

With 100MB internal memory and 64MB of RAM this device was able to Run Android 1.6 “Donut” just fine, Also Josh has said that he has been able to add keyboard support and Wifi Functionlaity using a USB dongle.

The video shows Josh max using the calculator to play a game. This is amazing, isn’t it?

But we must not forget that these Graphic calculators are very close friends to Scientists and Engineers, and just like them, their abilities are unpredictable. While researching on the internet we also found out that there have been instances in the past of people running versions of modded software and some lightweight games too.

What do you think of this Calculator and Josh Max, let us know in the comment section below. Until next time, Keep Androtrending!
