[UPDATED] Switching Jobs and moving in a different city, try National MNP

Upadte : Good News for all of us, now all indian telecom providers have agreed to the terms of National Mobile Number Portability Norms and the request for change in circle can be processed easily. Head on to any operator’s help desk to learn more about that operator’s process and requirements.

Well now its time for some Indian News, as you might be already aware that back in 2009, India Govt passed a act under which ‘A Telecom user or a subscriber can switch operators willingly in respective demography’, and now Sixth amendment has been passed under Telecommunication Mobile Number Portability Regulation Act, 2009 which makes it easier for the user to keep the same number and switch the state.

The MNP service was started in India in 2011, on the basis that the consumer were free to change the operator, but came with a condition that the donor and the recipient operator must be in the same circle, but now as the service has come to maturity and the operators have finally settled on the switching grounds, TRAI has issued orders that starting from MAY 3, 2015 the users will be able to switch between operators of different circles.
