Huawei has come up with its next flagship with Huawei P8, the smartphone in the official pictures looks amazing with Metal Unibody Design and power packed hardware. Along with P8, the company also announced its big brother- the P8 Max, by saying big brother I mean biggest brother, with its screen size as 6.8 Inch this device cannot be even called a Phablet.
By this I mean that you cannot make a call without using Bluetooth Headset and the size won’t let it fit in your jeans. So where do you plan to keep it?at this size, the P–Tablet won’t fit in your jeans
In this post we are going to skip P8 Max and talk about a smartphone that you can practically buy, not just can view in the store but buy. A Smartphone that you can share your selfies with, not to mention that a 6.8 incher is inoperable from single hand-Who will take a selfie with both hands?. NAH. SKIP IT.
Huawei success as a Smartphone manufacturer started when it gave us devices such as Mate7 and Honor 6- showed us that technology is not limited to big brands like Samsung and apple. Showed these big boys that charging premium just for sake of name is not going to work.
Honor 6 was a huge success in India, when I had my hands on the device- it was amazing-the feel, the finish were all great but had some heating issues so had to get a refund. Huawei houses its own in-house processors in its smartphones these days and they operate at high temperatures and that is why they get battery problems early but as long as it does not hurts you and goes on well it can be ignored.
Huawei’s one more problem has been use of plastic so this time they have come up with the best solution for the problem- using metal unibody instead of cheap plastic. Phone back and sides are brushed metal- aluminium and they go on well with the display which is as awesome as it can get.
Coming to what we are here for the specs of the beast, this guy has 5.2 inch Screen with FHD resolution, it’s not the best in class screen comparing to the likes of Quad HD in Samsung and LG but it is clear and crisp-at 424 ppi, it is powered by Kirin 903 OctaCore (four power efficient A53s and four performance A53s cores at 2.00GHz), and this is all supported by 3GB RAM with 32GB Internal Memory to Store all HD things of yours also giving you MicroSD support which means that you can store whatever you want and how much you want- Just kick in a 128GB Class 10 MicroSD and then you have 160GB of storage (theoretically).
This device is here to stay.
Camera is a tempting thing about this smartphone, Sony’s brand new Image Sensor 13MP OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) with f/2.0 lens and Dual LED flash- is as awesome as it can get on paper but we’ll need the camera sample for telling the hard truth, for the front the device has a 8MP shooter with f/2.4 lens capable of all your selfie needs.
Battery is a tricky part, only 2600 mAh. WHAT? NO! But what does is done, the device has low battery capacity but that doesn’t always means low battery backup. We’ll have to wait for us to get hands on for that part of saying.
