Google Smart Lock : Unlock Your Phone Automatically on Android Lollipop

Google has started rolling out the next feature of its smart lock service that let users automatically unlock their smartphones using Trusted Agents such as Places, Devices, Voice and Face. This security Add-on of the Mountain View Company won’t work on devices below Android Lollipop.

Trusted Places will let you automatically unlock your device when you check in at a particular place, Trusted Devices will do the same when connected to specific device such as Android Wearable and Bluetooth Devices. Trusted Face will automatically unlock your device when it recognizes your face and now the latest addition- Trusted Voice will automatically unlock your device when it recognizes your voice.

These trusted agents will be added to your smartphone or tablet via a series of updates to Google Play Services, and the rollout is irregular to demography- not all people of the same region have got these features so It seems that Google has not pushed them to all android devices.

Trusted Places and Devices are available on all Android Devices running lollipop at the moment, and in the coming time Trusted Face and Voice will follow.
