After YU Yureka, Yu Televenturers have finally announced that their next device would be called YUPHORIA- the device was being developed with the Codename as Project Caesar which was changed to YUPHORIA after a session of crowd selection.
Where the name itself was selected from people responses. More than 1,00,000 entries were received in the campaign #YUnameIT from which the officials selected five- YUPHORIA, YUKNIGHT, YUNICORN, YUNITY, YOUTH and these were further analyzed and YUPHORIA was selected as the official name for Project Caesar.
Micromax Owned Company YU Televenturers gained the limelight when it announced an exclusive partnership with Cyanogen for its first phone YU Yureka. The smartphone featured top notch specs with cyanogen mod running on top, unlocking or rooting the phone had no effect on warranty and these were the reasons that the phone always went Out Of Stock on Amazon after being publically available.
Talking about the Cyanogen-Micromax (YU) deal, the partnership was also widely criticized because it led to breach of contract between Cyanogen and One Plus and One Plus had to shift to Color OS for its Indian Users and that’s how YU got user attention.
Although the technical specs or the power of the deceive still hasn’t been officially announced we have a rumor list for the same- 5.1 HD Screen, 2GB of RAM or probably 3GB, 64bit Processor Chip like Snapdragon 410, and battery bigger than YUREKA’s.
