Yureka was announced not more than 8 months ago and now the makers are ready to push in an update as Yureka Plus. The smartphone seems an insignificant update over the lats year Yureka as the company has addressed its poor screen issues and the camera, Thats all! The company has pushed in a 1080p IPS 5.5inch screen which also bumps up the pixel count to 401ppi.
And only other thing which has been upgraded is the Sony IMX214 which seems to be a better 13MP unit than the previous generic one. The front camera remains the same, with 5MP Shooting capabilities. Sony IMX214 is a better unit when it comes to aperture and sensor size, featuring a 5-element laragn blue lens and f/2.2 aperture. Amounting to better Depth of Field pictures as well as performing speedy focus.
No SoC upgrades, while people have really cried over the issues of overheating and laggyness when it subjects to overheat, same 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, MicroSD Card, dual SIM Support and other Standard connectivity options.
Smartphone is already available through Amazon.in, with first sale on 24 July at 12PM with a price tag of Rs 9,999 and I really ask myself is this really worth the price or even the ‘upgrade’ tag?
