While there is still no global rollout of 5.0 lollipop on the Galaxy S5 and Note4 and there is a news that confirms that the predecessor has been getting an update to lollipop, yes you got it right Sammy’s S4 is getting Android 5.0 Lollipop Update in Russia.
The update is 1049 MB in size, which is considerably huge for a OS update, but anyways can be dealt with the positives of the new lollipop features like enhanced performance, lockscreen and heads up notification, whole new redesigned interface and much more.
The Touchwiz UI is also updated to the one which was first seen on galaxy S5, which is more enhanced version of the same. it includes more minimalistic design and complete design overhaul of Settings App and all of the Samsung Apps notice some design improvements.
Samsung still hasn’t rolled out the lollipop update on the Galaxy S5 and the Note 3 Exynos Variants, and is widely criticised for the same move. It is expected that they would start the roll out of update to these devices anytime now, the first market that will get the update to exynos variant will be the indian market.
