Xiaomi has sold a chunk load of smartphones in a relative less amount of time, thanks to Samsung and Apple for pricing their smartphones inappropriately high and to some extent to Xiaomi itself, understanding that generating ridiculously high revenue is the not only priority for a business.
And, even though all Xiaomi smartphones are a bang for a buck, at some point or other you eventually get bored with the everyday stuff and want to look out for something more. Well in this case, you have come to the right place, in this post we are going to talk about rooting xiaomi’s android lineup, yes all of them at this place. To shorten this article and be more specific, I have made separate articles for each of the devices.
They all follow the same rooting method i.e rooting via flashing SuperSU zip, but in order to flash a zip we need a custom recovery, so first we flash a temporary TWRP recovery through flashtool and then flash SuperSU package via TWRP.
So, you’ll need your smartphone drivers, flashtool drivers, superuser package and compatible recovery for your device. Don’t worry I’ve included all the links to the necessary resources in their separate device articles, with instructions on how to download and install them.
