Admit it, OnePlus two is the most talked about smartphone right now, with news and rumours of all kinds coming in the smartphone’s popularity is increasing everyday.
First news came in that the smartphone will be featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, then the Smartphone’s USB Type-C discussions came, then came argument over metal build and now we are hearing in the company’s official blogpost that the Smartphone will be featuring a 4GB LPDDDR4 RAM unit, which is a great inclusion as well.
The Official blogpost read, “Why did we choose LPDDR4 for the OnePlus 2? Another notable benefit is lower power consumption for better battery efficiency. That means you’ll be able to use your favorite apps (and more) without draining the battery. With LPDDR4, you get twice the bandwidth performance as the LPDDR3 at the same power consumption profile. The RAM of the OnePlus 2 uses a lower operating voltage than its predecessor, decreasing from 1.2V to 1.1V. And with speeds up to 32 GB/s, it is also twice as fast as the LPDDR3. It offers optimal support for power-saving low frequency mode that brings clock speeds down when performing those everyday and necessary tasks.”
4GB RAM is a big number and when we see a number high as this we think about the processor’s capability and bottleneck to even handle such high RAM, so if you are thinking the same, don’t worry. OnePlus Two’s Processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 is fully capable to run and utilise the whooping 4GB unit. Processor is a fully functional 64bit processor which is capable of handling such a high amount of RAM.
