Samsung is reportedly all set to launch a ultra-thin high speced smartphone in the Chinese market anytime now, the smartphone is going to be thin, and thin at 5.94mm thickness, thats’s really thin.
Smartphone is also rumoured to have a fingerprint sensor, a FHD 1080p screen with Octa Core Snapdragon 615 chipset which also finds itself in many budget Indian Smartphones like Mi 4i and many other. Device will also have 2GB RAM,16GB Internal memory, MicroSD card slot and other basic connectivity options like Wifi and Bluetooth v4.1.
Device will also get a 16MP ISOCELL Camera, with f/1.9 aperture. Whoa!. Selfie Camera featuring at 5MP and the battery capacity of 3,050 mAh.
With these specs and price point of $494, the device is likely to be the midrange jewel of the company and if the device comes to india for Rs 29,000, it will surely rule the mid-range section of the market.
The only con of the device seems to be the CPU, the Snapdragon 615 SoC is said to overheat and in my own experience with the Mi 4i, the CPU had some severe overheating issues. Other than that, every other detail about the smartphone seems overwhelming and we can’t wait to get our hands on the smartphone.
