Instagram which was previously mocked and made fun of when it reportedly removed pictures of a woman menstruating which, soon turned out to be the biggest outrage against Instagram and soon the company had to issue a public apology to the woman and restore the picture as well.
Now, the company is again stuck in similar circumstances in which it had to ban “#Curvy” which was reportedly used by offenders to propagate sexual content against women, but soon the company realized that people were not happy about the incident of banning the tag- especially plus-size women.
The damage was already done and soon a group of Women started posting pictures with the tag “#Curvee” and many more plus-size women came up for the notion to say that they were not ashamed of their bodies, and they won’t let anyone disregard it either. Hashtags like “#beautyhasnosize #styleatanysize started to trend.
