Yes, you heard it right, Someone over at XDA-Developers managed to run Windows 7 on Asus Zenfone 2. Windows Phone cry your heart out. Full fledged version of Windows not just a emulated, modded version but a full-fledged Operating System. Thanks to the x86 architecture of Intel Atom Processor residing with 4GB of RAM.
ycavan, The XDA-Developer forum member was able to do this task using a custom kernel, which he explained was the only way to run this setup. Firstly, the process requires you to Unlock Your Bootloader then side loading a custom kernel, then You’ll need a copy of Windows 7, and you are ready to go.
Keep in mind that it won’t be exactly as speedy as traditional Windows running on Desktop/PC but still is usable and fun. Here is the video of the Experience :
You can too do this, just follow ycavan’s instruction but make sure that you know that by Unlocking your bootloader you will avoid warranty.
