I tried replicating your issue and I found out that even if I get blocked, I still see that message option. Try the other way, Go to a post and then try to send that as a message by clicking the send as message button. I hope this helps.

Hi Cat!

This means that you have the person blocked, it might just be a technical glitch. For me when I tried to replicate your issue, it was as easy as unblocking the person I had blocked, as soon as I unblocked him/her, the red ‘Blocked’ text vanished.
